Our 2nd Annual Spring Retreat

When we first built Love Her League it was our intention to create a safe space for women to share, learn, and grow together. While this mission has not changed, the way we execute this mission has changed significantly over the last 18 months. We originally thought the idea was to create an online community of resources and have events that created opportunities to network, but as we started to execute it was clear that there was deeper work that needed to be happening.

Events to network and enjoy each other were great, but it soon became obvious that we needed more than fun. We needed outlets. We needed time to just be. We needed spaces where there were no agendas or workshops. We needed rest. We needed opportunities for self-care. We needed mental health resources. We needed a break from all the demands of life.

It was this realization that lead us to creating the Love[Her] Retreats.

Our retreats allow women to take some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to focus on themselves and their needs. They help recharge us, provide a sense of community, and give us the opportunity to explore and learn new things. Our women's retreats also help foster self-awareness and self-care, allowing women to take the time to focus on their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Additionally, these retreats can provide a valuable space for networking, connecting with other women, and creating meaningful relationships that can last a lifetime.

Every part of these retreats is intentional. We are incredibly thoughtful in the resources we share and provide. We make sure that women unplug while at the retreats, but also arm them with skills and techniques  to preserve mental health and wellness  once they go back home as well.  We often provide yoga, breath work sessions, journaling, art therapy, DIY aromatherapy, and Cister Circle sessions while on the retreats. We even make sure we're supporting  black women-owned businesses by buying products and services for our retreaters

Making these retreats accessible to the women we serve is at the top of our priority list and we can't do that without your help!
